Violence and abuse can happen to anyone at any time in their lives. When crisis happens, Crisis Intervention Shelter Service, Inc. (CISS) is a place to turn for help. Each year, more than 300 children, adults, and families depend on CISS for lifesaving – and life-changing support to help overcome violence and abuse. Since 1991, we have been there with hotlines, shelters, outreach programs, legal assistance, support groups, and many more services. Our efforts are possible because of caring, compassionate individuals and organizations who believe victims deserve better and brighter futures, without violence and abuse.
